LICSW, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Breathwork Facilitator
Many of us have been spending the past 2 years trying to navigate life from a place of overwhelm, exhaustion, anxiety and unpredictability. This can take its toll on us in so many ways. Some of us are operating with too much energy in our bodies (like the gas pedal is stuck on), some with not enough energy (as if the emergency brake has been pulled), and some of us feel both (like we have the gas and brake on at the same time).
As a somatic (body-based) therapist, Kim Lovejoy is interested in how to truly support the nervous system so that we can find a more regulated state of being through overwhelming times. She has found that Breathwork can be a profound tool to help, no matter what side of the pendulum we swing (gas or brake). It is important to find ways to move energy through the nervous system so that it doesn't overwhelm us or become stagnant. Join us for a breathwork healing experience! Bring along a blanket and a pillow, and come with an open mind!

Yoga does not just change the way we see things, it transforms the person who sees. - BKS Iyengar

Cassidy grew up dancing her entire life and after college, she knew she had to find something to keep her moving. She came across a barre class and never looked back! A few years later in 2018, she became certified to teach barre. A year after that, she decided to continue to expand her knowledge and certifications and became certified to teach Yoga Sculpt. Currently, she is in the midst of her 200 hour yoga teacher training. To Cassidy movement is medicine and should be accessible to all bodies.
A long journey through athletics and physical fitness eventually brought yoga to Adam’s world. He was immediately aware of the health and healing benefits that a strong practice brings. Over the years Adam has tailored his personal practice towards ashtanga and yin yoga. One keeps him strong, the other sane haha!
When Adam is not in a yoga room he is typically in his home theater enjoying some A/V entertainment. Very much an introvert, movies, music, and reading are all essential in his day.
